چکیده

the series of 3-(substitutedphenyl)-n-(4h-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)acrylamide compounds were prepared byreaction of 4-amino-1,2,4-triazole with acetyl chloride followed by claisen-schmidt condensation reactionwith different aromatic aldehydes. the structures of new compounds were confirmed by ir, 1h-nmr and13c-nmr spectral data. anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activities were evaluated and compared with thestandard drugs, some compounds of the series exhibited promising anti-microbial and anti-fungal activitycompared to standard drugs.

Design, synthesis and anti-HIV integrase evaluation of 4-oxo-4H-quinolizine-3-carboxylic acid derivatives.

4-Oxo-4H-quinolizine-3-carboxylic acid derivatives bearing sulfamido, carboxylamido, benzimidazole and benzothiazole substituents have been designed and synthesized. The structures of these new compounds were confirmed by (1)H-NMR, (13)C- NMR, IR and ESI (or HRMS) spectra. Compounds were screened for possible HIV integrase inhibitory activity.

A new series of quinoxaline 1,4-di-N-oxides were synthesized and evaluated for their antibacterial and antifungal activities. The best result was demonstrated by 3-amino-N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-quinoxalinecarboxamide 1,4-di-N-oxide 4e, MIC (0.24 μg/ml) against Aspergillus fumigatus, and (0.12 μg/ml) against Streptococcus pneumonia.
